Krystal Keith - Get Your Redneck On (Acoustic) - Video
She was in the country news a couple of months ago after releasing a promo track called 'Daddy Dance With Me', which she wrote and recorded for the father-daughter dance at her wedding. Toby reportedly welled up a little at the song (though he denies it, of course!).
'Get Your Redneck On' will be on her upcoming album Whiskey & Lace (two things I'm a big fan of!), and was co-written by Krystal and her producer Nathan Chapman, longtime producer of Taylor Swift and also producer on Keith Urban's new album, Fuse. With laid-back banjo and steel guitar apparently on the studio version, the only version currently available publicly is this acoustic performance from a few weeks ago, that boasts keyboard, acoustic guitar, and Krystal's full and rich vocals.
By the sounds of it it's going to be a nice song, and a far cry from the party anthems that dominated the summer. I'm excited to hear the studio version!
