Kristy Lee Cook signs record deal again

I don't understand.

Isn't this the third time Kristy Lee Cook has been signed to a label? Pre-Idol, Post-Idol and now post Why Wait (which sold 32,000 copies). Maybe executives are banking on the fact that Kristy Lee Cook was once considered a front-runner -- until she started singing live.

I hope she finally records Amazing Grace!

Congratulations Kristy Lee Cook!

From USA Today:

Kristy Lee Cook, who recently signed to Broken Bow Records, celebrated her birthday early Friday night at Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon. The former American Idol Season 7 finalist, who turns 27 on Jan. 18, invited fellow songwriters, label executives and friend -- including fellow former Idol contestant Bo Bice -- to the gathering.
