Kristy Lee Cook - American Idol 7 - Top 24 Interview

Kristy Lee Cook American Idol Top 24 Interview

Kristy Lee Cook says she is very similar to Carrie Underwood. Hmmm. She got out of her contract with RCA Records in 2007 so she could join American Idol. Ok, I like her honesty, but I like her HOTNESS more. Hahaha. Again, like Carly Smithson, being forthcoming with these details from your "recording past" I think helps. At least it takes away the idea that you are deceiving people by manufacturing a background that is not completely true. Kristy Lee Cook already lied to us by saying that she sold her horse in Oregon so she could audition in Philadelphia. She had already moved to Texas years ago according to her own website. She's trying to portray herself as a small town girl, when in fact she's just another girl who landed a contract and recorded an album that just didn't make it. This is her second chance so at least in this interview she's honest about it. However, her pretty face is what will get her far in this competition, if not win it outright.

Good news! Kristy Lee Cook's debut CD is now available!
