American Idol winner Kris Allen and wife Katy O'Connell have announced the birth of their son! Welcome to the world, Oliver Neil Allen!
Kris Allen, who first announced the news of his wife's pregnancy after surviving a severe car accident, later spoke on the idea of first-time fatherhood at the SXSW music festival in Austin.I've always wanted to be a dad...[Katy has] already started buying him clothes like mine. He's already got some [fedoras].This is Kris Allen's first child with wife Katy O'Connell. A rep for Allen spoke to Us Weekly confirming the exciting news.
He's 7 pounds, 7 ounces, 20 3/4 inches long. Mom and baby are doing great.Congratulations, Kris and Katy!
