The Knick - Official Promo 1 (Cinemax)

Cinemax has released the first promo for The Knick starring Clive Owen and directed by Steven Soderbergh.

The new original series airs this summer.

"The Knick" is the Knickerbocker hospital during the early part of the twentieth century -- when apparently, medicine, specifically surgery, was not all science. With the looks of this promo, it seems like it's going to be gruesome.

Nice premise for a series. I hope they pull it off. There will be blood! :)
