Kip Moore Releases New Single, 'Dirt Road'

Following the success of his last single 'Young Love', which was the lead from his upcoming sophomore album, Kip Moore has announced a new song, 'Dirt Road' going to country radio. As of yet the album remains officially untitled and has no release date - although an Amazon pre-order link indicated it was called Smoke and was due April 29th. However, with that date only next week, it can be now assumed this is not true.

"The groove of this song is something that really grabbed me," Kip said of 'Dirt Road'. "I actually worked it up with the band on the road and we played it live that same night. We did that with a lot of the new songs and in a way the live crowds helped shape this album because of that."

Kip also recorded a video sharing the story behind the song, which was co-written alongside Westin Davis and Dan Couch. You can check it out (along with a live acoustic version of the new track) below.
