Kimberly Perry Gets Engaged

Kimberly Perry of The Band Perry is engaged, to Toronto Blue Jay J.P. Arencibia.

In a romantic proposal that involved her being surprised by her whole family and boyfriend on their front porch, getting into her favorite pink dress, wearing a bracelet that belonged to her grandmother and reading a latter that her grandfather gave her grandmother.

She then went back out to the front porch where her boyfriend got down on one knee, aww. Designed by a friend in Chicago, Kimberly said the ring is emerald cut, “which is my absolute favorite,” and it’s three or 3.3 karats.

"I’ve never felt that with anyone before,” she said. “He’s just a really gentle soul. He balances me for sure.”
