Kimberley Locke at Club Pacha

It was actually a nice idea in the beginning. I woke up early today and noticed that Kimberley Locke had tweeted this:

@KimberelyLocke: Just landed in NY headed to Club Pacha... Coming thru the tunnel!!!

I wasn't so sure if she was in a time warp or if I was in a time warp so I tweeted her:

@rickey: @KimberleyLocke It's 6:40 am, why are you going to a club???

Then, surprisingly, she tweeted back:

@KimberleyLocke: @rickey All night party. Performing at 8am

Oh how cool!

Googled a bit a discovered that Club Pacha was just a few blocks away from my apartment.

I mulled it over (while eating a very Filipino breakfast), and decided I wouldn't be the world's greatest American Idol fan if I didn't take the opportunity to see Kimberley Locke perform at a nightclub at 8 am! I just had to.

So...

I arrive at Pacha at 7:45 am -- and it was closed!

The busboys started filing out of the club and I asked them what time the club closed and they said 7 am!

A photographer arrived from GettyImages and we were both at a loss since the party was supposed to end at 8 am when Kimberley Locke performed.

At about 8 am, two people came out -- I assumed the manager and his boyfriend who was plastered -- and I asked if Kimberley had gone and he said yes.

So that was it. Tragedy!

I was hoping KLo would let me know where she was, but she didn't respond on Twitter. Oh well. At least we tried!
