Kim Kardashian Engaged to Kanye West

It's a happy birthday for a certain Kardashian. And a busy October for wedding planners.

Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian in front of their friends and family at an event at AT&T Park in San Francisco. The rapper rented out the entire stadium for the occasion.

The couple, who welcomed baby daughter North West on June 15, have largely remained out of the public spotlight together in recent months. However, the couple is reportedly as strong now as they've ever been, if not more so. When asked by Kris Jenner on her talk show if he recalled it being "love at first sight" when he first met Kim several years ago, Kanye affirmed, "Oh yeah, definitely."

Naturally, this isn't the first talk of marriage between the two: Kim confirmed, in an interview featured in the February 2013 issue of Cosmopolitan, that she and Kanye have long been considering the possibility.

"[Marriage] is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don't have this sense of urgency about it," said Kardashian, who's been married and divorced twice herself. "I have this best friend who understands me and helps me through all my tough experiences, and vice versa, you know? It just feels like this is it for me."
