Kelly Rowland, the latest judge for The X Factor USA, has caught flack for what some perceive to be animosity against former Destiny's Child bandmate, Beyonce, on her new single, "Dirty Laundry". A recent performance of the song during a concert in Washington D.C., however, reveals that this isn't exactly the case.

While performing "Dirty Laundry" to a packed house on Sunday, Rowland broke down crying while singing the lyrics, "He pulled me out, he said, 'Don’t nobody love you but me / Not your mama, not your daddy and especially not Bey' / He turned me against my sister / I missed ya."

After that last line, Rowland broke down and was unable to continue the performance for roughly 25 seconds, as the sympathetic crowd chanted her name.

Rowland was able to finish the song, giving a brief speech after the performance: "I am so grateful to God that I have my girls to back me up," she said, going on to specifically thank Destiny's Child. "Dirty Laundry" details Rowland's complicated feelings about Beyonce, though these feelings haven't exactly prevented collaboration between the former bandmates. Rowland's upcoming album, "Talk A Good Game," will feature "You've Changed," a reunion between all three members of Destiny's Child (why hello, there, Michelle William! How have you been?).
