Kelly Clarkson - Always Be My Baby - Fan Request

Kelly Clarkson continues her popular fan request concert segment with Mariah Carey's "Always Be My Baby."  I love how she gushes about Mariah before she sings the song!

Kelly gushes about her idol Mariah before launching into a very respectable cover of one of Carey's biggest hits. Though Kelly seems tickled pink about Mariah's new role as American Idol judge, she notes that she's a bit of a "Bitter Betty" about the whole thing, since it would have been great to have her on her own season.

Reaction from past Idol contestants seems to be generally positive regarding Mariah as a judge, but quite a few have noted how nervous they would have been singing in front of one of their idols.  It will be interesting to see just how much nerves will be a factor when the next crop of Idol hopefuls starts auditioning in front of the diva.
