Keith Urban quits 'The Voice Australia'

Keith Urban has quit The Voice Australia. Looks like he is definitely on the American Idol panel next season.

Nine Network issued a statement saying that Urban has left for "other commitments."

Keith Urban will not be returning to the coaches' chair on the Australian version of The Voice for 2013, but the country music star has left open-ended the answer to ongoing speculation that he will be joining American Idol.

In a statement issued by The Voice’s local broadcaster, the Nine Network overnight Urban said: "I've been so fortunate to have been a part of The Voice. And as much as I'd love to do it again, it's clear that the recording and promoting of a new album, a tour and other commitments will keep me from being a part of the second season."
