It was announced at the TCAs earlier today that Urban would return to the show, with Fox's entertainment chief Kevin Reiley saying, "Keith is going to return to the show. The fans really liked him. Keith is a really funny guy." THR also said Jennifer Hudson was to be finalizing a deal while Dr. Luke and will.i.am were in discussions, while making note of Jennifer Lopez being considered.
Later today, the executive producer of Yahoo's OMG said that a very reliable source reports that Jennifer Lopez and will.i.am will close out the panel.
Nothing against Keith, but he brought nothing to Idol and if the others left, he should have as well. As for J.Lo, I've ranted about I don't see why the execs obsess over her, she's not doing anything for the show. And will.i.am.....well..that should be self-explanatory.
Have a seat Idol. I thought y'all were trying to come back?
