Kate Middleton to give birth to second baby in April 2015

Prince William and Kate Middelton's second child is due in April 2015, the royal family announced on Monday, October 20, 2014.

In a statement to the press, Kensington Palace said that the Duchess of Cambridge who has been suffering from extreme morning sickness was "steadily improving".

She is also scheduled to join Prince William on Tuesday for her first public appearance since her pregnancy was announced last September when they welcome Singapore President Tony Tan to the UK.

She will also attend the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2014 awards ceremony at the Natural History Museum in London.

Her second baby will be fourth in line to the throne behind Prince George who was born in July last year.
