Kanye West - Claims He Risks His Life Like a Soldier to Perform - Video

You should all appreciate Kanye West, because according to Kanye, he puts his life at risk just like a soldier or police officer to perform for you.

Nope. Just nope.

West revealed this horrifying claim in an interview with SaturdayNightOnline, saying, "I’m just giving of my body on stage … I’m putting my life at risk."

"This is like being a police officer or something or war or something."

He painfully continued, "You’re literally going out to do your job every day you know, knowing that something could happen to you … verbally, from the press bashing you, something could happen to you from people not liking you anymore ... you could actually slip on that stage."

And just in case his commentary wasn't hilarious enough, he also compares what he does to the plot of The Hunger Games because he's "extremely famous" and people may not like his jeans. Or something.

Other fun tidbits include: "What people call a rant, I call a visionary stream of consciousness" and "we don't need to tell kids to get off their iPhone, we need to have them on their iPhone more."
