Kanye West on How Kim Kardashian is More Influential Than Michelle Obama

Rap-rocker Kanye West recently sat down for an interview with Ryan Seacrest on the host's On Air With Ryan Seacrest in which he adamantly supported his fiancé's quest for a Vogue cover. According to West, classism in Hollywood has rendered the "influential" reality television stars of today as unfit icons in the fashion world, even though, according to Kanye, they're making the most waves.

According to E! Online, Kanye West stated:
There's no way Kim Kardashian shouldn't be on the cover of Vogue. She's like the most intriguing woman right now. She's got BarbaraWalters calling her like everyday… And collectively, we're the most influential with clothing. No one is looking at what [BarackObama] is wearing. Michelle Obama cannot Instagram a [bikini] pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day.
Kim Kardashian recently appeared on the cover of CR Fashion Book, a publication currently run by Carine Roitfeld, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris. This was a moment Kanye West declared a "breakthrough" in the Hollywood "wall of classism." What do you think? Does Kim Kardashian deserve a Vogue cover? Why does Barbara Walters call Kim every day? Is Michelle Obama slipping in popularity because she's yet to publicly post a bikini ass shot? (No, that isn't meant to be taken seriously. There's always one of you.)
