Kanye West defends George W. Bush

Wow! Kanye West is a reformed man. Listen to this interview from Houston’s hip-hop radio show, 97.9 The Box where Kanye says he understands how George W. Bush felt when Kanye said that Bush "doesn't care about black people" after Hurricane Katrina.
“I definitely can understand the way he feels to be accused of being a racist in any way, because the same thing happened to me. I was accused of being racist.”
“With both situations it was a lack of compassion that America saw in that situation. For him, it was a lack of compassion for not... taking the time to rush down to New Orleans. With me, it was a lack of compassion with cutting somebody off in their moment.”
“I think we’re all quick to pull a race card in America. And now, I’m more open… I’m feeling more connect with him on a humanitarian level.”
