Justin Moore Responds to Zac Brown's 'That's My Kind of Night' Comments
So, a few country stars have gone on record decrying the state of country music, most notably Zac Brown, who also said (when asked) that Luke Bryan's 'That's My Kind of Night' was the worst country song ever. Jason Aldean said on Instagram that nobody gives a sh** what he thinks, backing up his friend Luke. Dallas Davidson, a co-writer on the song, asked Zac to respect his creativity.
Now, in an interview with my good friend Broadway, Justin Moore has provided some advice for Zac Brown. He said, "What I do have a problem with is when you call out somebody in your fraternity... do we all like every song on the radio? Do the fans like every song on the radio? No. Music's subjective... there's never gonna be a song that everybody loves, there's never gonna be a song that everybody hates... that said, Luke's a friend of mine, and a great guy, a great husband, great father, etc. I wouldn't have took too kindly to it if I was him."
He continued, "I just don't see the upside to it. You can never make yourself look good by trying to make somebody else look bad."
Wow. I feel like everyone is getting a little so wound up over a little comment. Maybe I'm just made of steel but I've had criticisms way worse than that and just built a bridge.
