Justin Bieber supports fight against HIV/AIDS - ACT UP

Justin Bieber wore an ACT UP t-shirt last night at the 2011 CMT Music Awards in support of the fight against HIV/AIDS.

I'm so proud of Justin!

ACT UP was one of the first grass roots organizations to put up a fight against the HIV/AIDS crisis when Pres. Ronald Reagan was totally ignoring that the disease even existed in the 80s. A lot of the progress we are living with today in managing HIV/AIDS and keeping people alive are a result of the hard work from ACT UP.

I'm glad that Justin is using his influence with young people today to raise awareness.
