'Justice League: Throne of Atlantis' Trailer Brings Animated DC Goodness (VIDEO)
The epic first trailer has premiered for Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, the upcoming straight-to-video animated offering from Warner Bros. Animation and DC Comics. And it looks pretty damn spectacular.
The film, which is a sequel to Justice League: War from earlier this year, will be based on the Throne of Atlantis story arc written by Geoff Johns. Nathan Fillion will reprise his role as Green Lantern/Hal Jordan, while Jason O'Mara is back as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Christopher Gorham is back as The Flash/Barry Allen, Sean Astin returns as Shazam, and Shemar Moore and Steven Blum reprise their roles as Cyborg and Cyborg's armor, respectively.
In addition, Jerry O'Connell voices Superman while Rosario Dawson plays Wonder Woman, a role she should really be playing in a live-action film of some kind (I'm sure Gal Gadot will be fine in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but man, Dawson would have been outstanding). Meanwhile, Matt Lanter plays the lead role of Arthur Curry/Aquaman in a story that pits brother vs. brother in a battle for Atlantis. Of course, because this is the DC Universe, this inevitably becomes a battle for the entire world, necessitating the involvement of the Justice League. Check out the full trailer below:
