'Jurassic World' Poster Released (PHOTO)
Say what you will about the dodgy third installment in the Jurassic Park franchise -- or the similarly hit-or-miss second movie, The Lost World -- but there's still a certain cultural cache to the property. Case in point, the buzz created on Twitter by director Colin Trevorrow, who tweeted out a photo of the first poster for Jurassic World.
The poster is a relatively understated one, featuring the classic Jurassic Park logo and a tagline that simply reads, “The Park Is Open.”
The movie isn't due out until next summer, but it's already among the most anticipated films of 2015, as Chris Pratt continues to build his star power following Guardians of the Galaxy by starring in this blockbuster as "a scientist conducting behavioral research on raptors," according to Entertainment Weekly. While it's not evident how he'll look in a lab coat, the dude cuts a pretty striking figure atop a motorcycle. Here's hoping he gets to ride it around some dinosaurs.
Jurassic World doesn't hit theaters until June 12, 2015, but you can check out the official poster below:
