'Jurassic World' Full-Length Trailer Premieres (VIDEO)

After teasing the trailer a few days ago, Universal has followed through with the premiere of the full-length trailer for this summer's Jurassic World, featuring Guardians of the Galaxy star and newly-minted badass Chris Pratt.

The trailer centers on the movie's primary dilemma, in which scientists at Jurassic Park decide to cook up a new dinosaur using genetic engineering. The result is a genetically-modified hybrid, and Pratt's character seems to be the only person who recognizes what a terrible idea this is. "She's a highly-intelligent animal. She'll kill anything that moves," he declares, which I would imagine carries more weight now that he's rocking a badass mustache. The trailer is pretty stirring, thanks to the haunting piano cue, which is a variation on the theme from the original Jurassic Park. The clip sets the mood for the film in a big way, with foreboding around every corner, and the threat of a franken-dino looming large. June 12th can't come soon enough.
