Jose Ruiz and Billy Bell - Conference Call

Jose Ruiz and Billy Bell were on a conference call with reporters this afternoon.
I didn't jump in with my questions this time since it was a bit of a free-for-all type where you asked a question as soon as you hear a lull instead of putting yourself on queue. You can also hear all the background noise! The typing and whatever else on the audio is not me, but the everyone else in the conference call.
But some of my questions were asked by other people which probably contributed to my just shushing...
When asked about Jose's criticism from the judges for lack of technique, he eventually said that he actually wanted to branch out into other forms of dance namely contemporary. He also agreed that a dance off with Legacy in the finale is a good idea.
For Billy, he said that he actually liked being "androgynous" - even if it was a controversial topic at the moment - because it made him unique.
MJ Santilli from MJ's Big Blog asked Billy some details about his injury non-injury last week and Nigel's calling him out on it.
Billy said that when he was asked if was willing to perform after getting a clearance from the doctors -- he was still feeling pain in his knee at the time and did not want to risk it. He added that he was upset about Nigel's comments on the injury, but realized that it's a TV show and there are things beyond his control.
