Jordin Sparks - "The Sauce" - 02/25/08

Jared Cotter had a great interview with American Idol winner Jordin Sparks today -- and I was there!

Jordin Sparks talked about her to trip to Ghana and encourages everyone to buy mosquito nets to prevent malaria. Jordin Sparks is going on tour with Alicia Keys! Woohoo! I think I might actually watch that. She also sang a duet with Jared Cotter which was awesome.

Afterward, Jared and Jordin got their picture taken in front of the Fuse sign by the official photographer, and then Jared told Jordin that I was there. Jordin screamed my name, Rickey! Hahaha. She said she remembered me from Sanjaya's birthday, then I told her that I was actually at the last concert, but I did not see her. Anyway, I told her how happy I was about her single "No Air". She said it had been given to someone else originally, but eventually they gave it to her to sing with Chris Brown. Jordin Sparks was so tall! She was wearing heels.

Jordin Sparks' debut album has spent 13 weeks in the Billboard 200 and is currently at #49. She has sold 560,000 copies so far.

Also, I discovered that they know me at "The Sauce" -- so here's a shoutout to the "The Sauce" peeps! Thanks for letting the scrawny kid in!
