Jordin Sparks Releases New Single: Skipping a Beat
Jordin Sparks has released her new comeback single "Skipping a Beat." The song features a more R&B and Pop sound than her previously released singles.
It's definitely a different sound for Jordin. I've listened to it a few times and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. It's definitely better than her 2011 release "I Am Woman." Unfortunately, I think the new sound she's going for, at least on this song, sounds a bit dated.
However, I love Jordin. And the more important thing is that upon my fourth listen, the song is now stuck in my head. A good Earworm is what every Summer single should strive to be.

Jordin also apparently has a duet with boyfriend Jason Derulo on the way so be sure to keep an eye out for that.
