Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo Break Up - Report

Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo have split!

E! News has confirmed from multiple sources that the breakup was mutual and that they will continue to be friends.

Jordin and Derulo started dating in September 2011 and confirmed their romance in January 2012. They recently attended the MTV Video Music Awards together just last month.

There have been many rumors flying around that the couple were engaged and would marry soon -- but obviously now, that's not going to happen or has happened.

Too bad -- I thought they really looked happy together.

According to Derulo, Jordin was instrumental in his recovery when he broke his vertebrae back in January 2012.
