Sigh. If this isn't the classic pimping of the winner, I've been sleeping under a rock for 3 years. In fairness, one of my favorites Carrie Underwood benefited from this -- which helped her overcome the freight train that was Bo Bice coming into the finals.

I guess I still haven't recovered from the "best performance in 6 seasons" comment. No offense Jordin, but we are all but pawns. Ha! Really Randy? Fantasia's "Something to Talk About" or "Summertime?" Carrie's "Alone?" Bo's "Whipping Post", "Vehicle" or "In a Dream?" Anwar's "What a Wonderful World?" Any Elliott Yamin? Heck is it even better than Melinda's "My Funny Valentine" this season?
