Jordin Sparks - In The Heights Debut
Jordin Sparks made her Broadway debut last night as Nina in In The Heights -- and I was there as media! The rush to get curtain call pictures was a bit insane. I was being blocked from all over and could not get a clear shot. Next time, I will make sure to be in front (and/or bring a step stool).
We also had a chance to take pictures of the cast on the stage, but before we went up -- I spotted Nick Jonas! The picture was blurred since my camera lens was not that fast. Also, either Kevin or Joe was there too as I heard one of their names get called out.
There were also two Housewives of New Jersey whose names I do not know. And some actress named Megan.
I got pictures of Jordin with the cast and also with her mother.
Because the photo session was pretty much a free for all, I couldn't get Jordin's attention even if she was just literally in front of me. I waited outside for her with the fans (well not really -- I walked to Shake Shack to get a burger first). When I came back the crowd was huge waiting for her -- even bigger than Corbin Bleu! I saw her in the line and she recognized me. A guy from Italy took our picture which was nice. I told her that she was amazing and promised to watch the show again and again... I will have a full review then.
Tonight I was a bit of a photographer -- which I thought was amazing since I never thought years ago I would be doing this.
The crowd outside!
