YES! YES, dammit! Mike Ehrmantraut lives!

Jonathan Banks, who currently stars on NBC's Community, will be returning to the world of Breaking Bad for the spin-off, Better Call Saul. Banks has signed on as a series regular on the prequel series, as the enforce/right-hand man for series lead Saul Goodman (the returning Bob Odenkirk).

Better Call Saul is expected to "focus on the evolution” of the criminal lawyer prior to his first encounter with Walter White, the man who would become the iconic Heisenberg. The series is scheduled to premiere in November on AMC.

I LOVE this news, since Mike was one of my favorite characters. With that said, I kind of have my fingers crossed for the return by Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito), even above Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) or Walter White (Bryan Cranston) himself. Esposito's performance was just such a fun, nuanced portrayal to enjoy, and I'd love to get to see it again. Which Breaking Bad character would you want to see return for Better Call Saul? Sound off in the comments!
