Jonas Brothers Explain Breakup on Good Morning America - Video

So what was the impetus behind The Jonas Brothers' decision to breakup?

Kevin, Nick, and Joe were on Good Morning America this morning to explain the reasons behind their breakup. Nick revealed that he was the one that initiated talks with his brothers about a breakup as they were preparing to leave for their now-canceled tour.

"In a nutshell, I said, 'I feel like we've had some complications within the new group for a long time without addressing them. I think this train will fall off the tracks without getting real about some of the limitations and some of the concerns that we may feel as individuals and within the group,'" he said. "It was a tough conversation, I'm not gonna lie, and it was the first time we really had that real conversation and it was a few days of working through it. And now we've all come to a place after a lot of time thinking about it and talking about it together, where we feel like we're best suited to do our own individual things, all things we're passionate about and choose to be brothers first."
