John Oliver has left The Daily Show, but he's not leaving comedic political punditry. The British funnyman has a new show coming to HBO, and it finally has a title and a premiere date.

John Oliver’s late-night comedy talk show will be titled Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, a reference to the show's format of looking back on the week's big events. But that's not all, as HBO has confirmed the premiere date: Sunday, April 27 at 11:00 PM ET.

The network has already ordered 24 episodes of the show, and it's a number that is expected to grow if the quality of the show matches, or even exceeds, Oliver and former Daily Show head writer Tim Carvell's output during Jon Stewart's hiatus this past summer.
