John Oliver - 'The Daily Show' Says Tearful Goodbye - Video

John Oliver, the correspondent who hosted The Daily Show while Jon Stewart was offer for the summer, has left for greener pastures.

Specifically to host his own political news comedy on HBO!

Last night (Dec. 19) marked his final evening on Comedy Central so to bid him a fond farewell the cast put together a John Oliver retrospective which had Oliver crying by the end.

Did we say cry? We meant had him fighting back a well of emotions which his body didn't know how to or want to handle.

But first the staff spent all day writing a terrible joke about the Royals in order to surprise him with their montage.

Adorable.
