John Mayer On His Relationship With Katy Perry

If anyone can get a celebrity to spill about their personal life, it's Ellen. Nobody can say no to Ellen Degeneres when she's prying and prodding on her talk show. Regarding his current(?) coupling with Katy Perry, John Mayer had this to say:

It was a very private relationship going in, it was a private relationship during, and it's a private relationship still. I can understand asking the question based on some previous answers I've given, but I finally learned how to put the wall between one thing and the other, and I've been much happier since then.

Mayer went on to state that, fame aside, he's truly on the same life journey as everyone else. You can catch John Mayer on tour this summer.
