Joe Nichols Reveals Wife Expecting Baby Girl

It wasn't that long ago that Joe Nichols and his wife Heather announced they were expecting their second child, but they recently revealed to People Magazine that they are expecting a girl. "I'm so outnumbered," Joe exclaimed. "I am toast!"

Joe is of course referring to his current 2-year-old daughter Dylan River and his 15-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, who will be joined by their new baby sister around May 20.

Prior to getting pregnant with Dylan, Heather suffered five miscarriages, so the couple are just happy to be having another baby at all. "We got some great images on the sonogram last week and it's so reassuring to see that," Joe revealed. "We are incredibly fortunate to have Dylan, and now to be expecting our second so soon, we are thankful and so happy Dylan will have a little sister to grow up with."

Little sister, or puppy? Apparently Dylan points to her mother's swelled belly and says, "Puppy!" She might be a little disappointed in 3 weeks' time.
