Jodie Foster Comes Out as Gay at Golden Globe Awards 2013 - Video

Jodie Foster came out tonight as gay during her acceptance speech at the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards on January 13, 2013.

She thanked her longtime partner Cydney Bernard -- and acknowledged her "modern family." She also had an emotional thank you to her mother.

She said:

"I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago, back in the stone age. In those very quaint days when a fragile young girl would open up to trusted friends, and family, coworkers and then gradually, proudly, to everyone who knew her. To everyone she actually met."

It was a really weird speech. But I am very happy for her. I would watch her reality show :)
