Joanna Pacitti - Carly Smithson 2.0? - American Idol 8 Spoilers

MJ's Big Blog has a nice recap on rumored American Idol 8 hopeful Joanna Pacitti.

The New York Post ran an article on Joanna Pacitti today -- but unfortunately did not credit Vote for the Worst which is the obvious source of all the information and research.

Some highlights:

Joanna Pacitti's "Out From Under" is covered by Britney Spears on her new album "Circus" (debuting at #1 this week by the way). She had been formerly signed by A&M and Geffen Records. She played Annie in the 20th Anniversary revival on Broadway when she was 11, but was fired when she had bronchitis, two weeks before it opened on Broadway -- her parents sued and the controversy was subject to a 20/20 segment from Barbara Walters.
