Jim Parsons to Host 'Saturday Night Live'

Saturday Night Live has gone on a brief hiatus due to the Winter Olympics, but it's returning sooner than you think -- with the star of TV's #1 comedy.

Jim Parsons will host SNL on March 1 with musical guest Beck. This will be the first time hosting for Parsons, the Emmy-winning star of The Big Bang Theory. But Beck is no stranger to the SNL stage, as this marks the musician's seventh appearance as musical guest. Beck will be appearing to promote his eagerly anticipated album, Morning Phase, due out February 25.

I can't wait to see how Parsons adapts to the live setting. There's absolutely no reason this shouldn't be a great show.
