Jillian Michaels Leaving 'The Biggest Loser' (Yes, Again)
Proving that she's nothing if not consistent in her routine of leaving, coming back, and leaving again, NBC has confirmed in a press release that Jillian Michaels is leaving The Biggest Loser for the third time.
"After helping hundreds of contestants transform their lives and inspiring millions of viewers at home, The Biggest Loser and Jillian Michaels have decided to part ways and she will not be returning for season 16 when it airs in the fall," the statement reads.
There's no news on a possible replacement for Michaels, although more details on the upcoming 16th season of The Biggest Loser (seriously, SIXTEEN SEASONS) are expected to be announced at some point prior to its premiere on Sept. 11th. I mean, common sense would suggest as much. But then, NBC doesn't always have its non-Voice priorities in order. However, they're generally fairly good about taking care of their reality shows, and The Biggest Loser has mostly been good for the network, even if Jillian Michaels's on-again/off-again presence occasionally hasn't been.
