Jewel Recording New "Raw, Live" Album For Summer 2014 Release

Jewel has revealed that she is in the process of recording a new album.

She has said it will be quite a raw album, and that some of it will be recorded live. "I’m looking at this record as a sort of bookend to my first record, Pieces of You", she told Country Weekly. Fans get the idea of a folksy collection that isn't afraid to be blunt and hit at difficult topics, which I for one am really excited about.

Jewel has set a tentative release of Summer 2014 for the project.
