Jessica Simpson Marries Eric Johnson

It's official: Jessica Simpson is now Mrs. Eric Johnson.

The singer married the former NFL star in a private ceremony at the beautiful San Ysidro Ranch at Montecito in Santa Barbara County, California earlier today, Saturday, July 5th. Reportedly, the bride and groom appeared to the tune of The Beach Boys' iconic ballad "God Only Knows," and exchanged vows in front of family and friends. The two have been engaged since November 2010, having first began their relationship in May of that year. Simpson and Johnson are parents to two children, daughter Maxwell, 2, and son Ace, 1.

Over 250 guests were on hand for the nuptials, including sister Ashlee Simpson and fiancé Evan Ross, actress Jessica Alba and her family, That '70s Show alum Topher Grace and his girlfriend, and several of Johnson's old football teammates from his days at Yale and the NFL, including former San Francisco 49er Tim Rattay. The wedding ceremony was part of a festive Fourth of July holiday weekend that included a lavish rehearsal dinner on Thursday, followed by a 4th of July barbecue on Friday, along with various activities throughout such as golf for the guys and spa dates for the ladies. The nuptials themselves were equally ostentatious, as many of the women came wearing gowns of various bright shades, such as pink, champagne, gold and turquoise. Meanwhile, the men wore black tuxedos and suits with either straight black ties or bow ties. All in all, it sounds like it was a pretty classy affair.
