Jennifer Nettles To Release Debut Solo Album, 'That Girl', January 14

Jennifer Nettles will release her debut album as a solo artist on January 14. The collection will be entitled That Girl after her current single (top 40 country radio) and according to Jennifer will show a more mature, more womanly side to her.

Produced by Rick Rubin, Jennifer says, "I think this album so far for me musically has been the most intimate and personal ... musically and vocally. I think it's way more intimate to me and way more personal in the sense that when you collaborate, that's the nature of collaboration, you're affecting each other, and playing with and inspiring each other, and yet there are things that one may not get to do or want to do when collaborating."

Jennifer is part of the award-winning duo Sugarland with Kristiam Bush, which is currently on hiatus while both stars embark on solo projects, beginning when Jennifer fell pregnant in 2012.

I know many people are excited to hear Jennifer recording and performing as a solo artist, and I'm intrigued to see what kind of music That Girl will deliver!
