Jennifer Lawrence to produce, star in 'The Rules of Inheritance'

Jennifer Lawrence has continued to plot her post-Oscar career trajectory in Hollywood, as the 22-year-old Best Actress winner is set to take on a new role in film, this time as a producer.

Lawrence will both produce and star in The Rules of Inheritance, to be directed by Oscar winner Susanne Bier (In a Better World).

The film is an adaptation of Claire Bidwell Smith's memoir about the hardships she faced when, at the age of 14, both of her parents were diagnosed with cancer.

The movie will reunite Lawrence with Silver Linings Playbook producer Bruce Cohen. The script, meanwhile, will be written by Abi Morgan (The Irony Lady).
