An Oscar winner is adding her star power to Dumb and Dumber To.

Jennifer Lawrence has signed on to make a cameo in the upcoming comedy sequel, The Hollywood Reporter confirms. Lawrence will play a young version of Kathleen Turner's character, a cameo made possible by the fact that The Hunger Games: Mockingjay is being filmed near the Atlanta set of the comedy.

In addition to proximity, the cameo was likely an easy sell to Lawrence, who is an avowed fan of the original 1994 cult comedy classic, Dumber and Dumber. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Lawrence cited Dumb and Dumber as one of her favorite comedies, and even recited a line from the film:

Universal is set to release Dumb and Dumber To in 2014.
