Here's Jennifer Hudson's acceptance speech at the 2013 Do Something Awards which aired on VH1 last night. Yes, J.Hud! We love you.
Hudson was recognized for her work with the Julian King Foundation, named for her nephew who was tragically murdered with her brother and mother in 2008. She and her sister Julia do events through the organization, which includes helping disadvantaged kids. The award was dedicated to Julia who was back home in Chicago working on a project for the org. Good stuff!
