Jenji Kohan's Next Project is About the Salem Witch Trials

Jenji Kohan, the creator behind Weeds and Orange is the New Black, is tackling a historical drama about the Salem Witch Trials for HBO next.

The Hollywood Reporter says Kohan will write the script for the untitled drama alongside Bruce Miller (who wrote Alphas and Eureka) along with Tracy Miller. Kohan will also executive produce as part of a deal with Lionsgate.

So maybe we were wrong about that whole "there is no witches trend" going on right now when we complained about that Charmed reboot?

After all, The Witches of East End has gotten a second season, American Horror Story: Coven is doing reasonably well and children are even watching a terrifying CGI remake of Sabrina the Teenage Witch called Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch.

Thanks a lot for proving us wrong Jenji Kohan. We forgive you though, mostly because we want to watch whatever you make.
