Director, 'Fresh Prince' Producer Jeffrey Pollack Dead at 54

Jeffrey Pollack, the producer behind the hit sitcom Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and director of Above the Rim and Booty Call has died at the age of 54.

The director passed away suddenly on Monday (Dec. 23), and the Hermosa Beach Police Department can confirm that his body was found in jogging clothes in Greenbelt Park, a popular jogging spot.

He was announced dead when paramedics arrived on the scene. Foul play is currently not suspected.

In addition to producing the Will Smith vehicle Fresh Prince, Jeffrey was also an executive-consultant on The Tyra Banks Show and a production consultant on the Oscar-winning film Monster.

Pollack is survived by his two children.
