Jeff Gutt and Restless Road - The X Factor USA 2013 – Every Breath You Take – Video MP3

Jeff Gutt and Restless Road sang “Every Breath You Take” by The Police for the "Dueling Duets" round on The X Factor USA 2013 Top 4 Live Show 7.

A lot of trash talk from Jeff in the VT. "They might be ready for a recording contract in a year, but I'm ready for it right now. I've been doing this longer than they've been alive." I mean, he isn't entirely wrong about Restless Road, but his tough talk wrote a check his performance didn't cash. Seriously, I was expecting him to blow them away, and he just didn't. I was actually far more impressed by Restless Road, who I thought gelled really well together. This isn't to say Jeff was bad or anything. It was certainly a good vocal. But I guess I just expected more from him, particularly given how much the song choice favored him.
