Jean Kelley sings 'Chandelier' (VIDEO)

Jean Kelley sang 'Chandelier' on The Voice 2014 Season 7 Knockout Round on Monday, November 3, 2014 for Team Pharrell Williams against Menlik Zergabachew.

Jean will be singing "Chandelier," a song she picked because of the alcoholism message. Basically, she thinks it's a beautifully sad song, and she only wants to pick songs that mean something to her. However, she does admit that she doesn't have a personal history with alcoholism. But she's still able to connect with the song, just the same. Taylor is in love with her voice from the first note. "Oh my God, that was the most emotional performance I've seen in SO long!" Taylor says. She praises Jean for her choice to start off the first chorus very tenderly before giving the full power, comparing it to interpretive dance.

I think Jean absolutely slayed Menlik with this vocal, delivering a passionate performance that was host to one of the best vocals of the Knockout Rounds. I was genuinely impressed with the tone and quality of her voice, in addition to her control. There was a lot of natural drama in this, with her haunting delivery. She offered some terrific theatricality, and I hope that's enough to carry her through. She's not as unique as Menlik, but I think she's got plenty to offer the competition.
