JC Chasez Reveals How Justin Timberlake Reunited NSYNC - Audio

Not twenty-four hours have passed since NSYNC reunited on the VMA stage, but the media blitz is in full-effect, starting with JC Chasez's interview on On Air With Ryan Seacrest.

Chasez discusses keeping the reunion a secret, the group's reaction to the news leaking and the initial phone call from Justin Timberlake in which his old friend and bandmate proposed getting the group back together. You can listen to the full interview below via On Air With Ryan Seacrest:

In the interview, Chasez describes receiving the call from Justin Timberlake, saying, “First of all, it was the worst kept secret ever, [but] Justin gave me a buzz and he said, ‘Hey man, listen. I’m getting this award and they have given me a pile of time to perform and we started our careers at MTV and I think we should get the band back together.’”

He would go on to discuss what it was like to get the band back together for the first time in ten years.

Literally, two minutes after seeing everybody you feel like no time has passed,” Chasez states. “Essentially everybody has remained the same and we all see each other at different times … but this was the first time we had a rehearsal together in 10 years, so everyone was going, ‘Can we go through this one more time slowly?’… so that part was pretty funny.”
