Employee Who Leaked the Jay Z + Solange Fight Video Has Been Fired

The person who leaked the video of Jay Z and sister-in-law Solange Knowles fighting inside an elevator at the Standard Hotel has been terminated.

So we really hope they got their money's worth after selling it to TMZ.

According to the hotel, yesterday (May 14) they had "identified the individual responsible for breaching the security policies of the hotel and recording the confidential CCTV video."

"The Standard has already terminated the individual and will now be pursuing all available civil and criminal remedies. The Standard will next be turning over all available information to the criminal authorities."

Said footage was filmed off the monitors in the Standard's back room through a cell phone camera.

At the time of the leak, the hotel announced in a brief statement, "We are shocked and disappointed that there was a clear breach of our security system and the confidentiality that we count on providing our guests. We are investigating with the utmost urgency the circumstances surrounding the situation and, as is our customary practice, will discipline and prosecute the individuals to our fullest capacity."
